Ligon Arts Boosters (LAB) was established in 1983 to support arts education at Ligon Magnet Middle School. LAB supports Ligon's Music, Dance, Theatre and Visual Arts programs through fundraising, volunteerism, and resource support.

We are run by a board of volunteers and powered entirely by donations.

Over the years, LAB has directly supported Ligon Arts initiatives in many ways, including:

• New piano class keyboards

• Visual art display cases

• Theater stage curtains

• African drums

• Annual discretionary classroom funds for all 9 arts teachers

• NEW launch of the Artspire Scholarship Fund

• Membership- gives you updates and access while providing Ligon Arts teachers with support.

• Donation- funds go directly to Ligon Arts programs. LAB is grateful to accept charitable donations, grants, and corporate matches.
